The war is still progressing and there is no sign of either side giving up. The soldiers are starting to lose hope of ever being able to going back home again. Xavier is in world of pain, he has seen too many of his friends die from the enemy snipers and is starting to go mad himself. His closest friend Elijah is being devoured hungrily everyday by the deadly morphine. It seems the war has changed everyone, I myself can barely recognize any of them because they have all gone mad. What will happen to Xavier and Elijah and the rest of the soldiers. Will they be able to survive and go back home?
I think that the war not only changed Elijah but also Xavier. Both Elijah and Xavier have come a long way from when they first entered the war.
